What’s been happening:

Right out of Penn State I got my MBA degree in 1975 at the Wharton School and married my Penn State sweetheart Sandy Roll (1973 BS Computer Science, now Sandy Mangels) in 1974. I worked for Xerox in the US from 1975 to 1978 in finance and marketing, then we moved to Brazil the same year. Our offspring Laura and Alan were born here in 1980 and 1982, respectively. After finishing high school in Brazil, both attended universities in the US - Laura, Reed College (BA Sociology and Psychology) and Alan, University of Michigan (BS Aerospace Engineering). Both still live in the US, Laura - UC Berkeley, CA (Sociology PhD candidate) and Alan - Miami, FL (Sales Director for Latin America at Airbus). Upon arriving in Brazil I joined the Family Business, had a financial career, and have been CEO since 1989. Sandy was a systems analyst in the US and had a similar job for one year in Brazil. I continue to surf and fish, having begun those activities in my childhood.
